Job Description : Job Summary: The Site Leader role is responsible for the execution of the site’s enterprise asset management strategy, local business continuity plan, health and safety, and risk mitigation efforts. The Site Leader is accountable for ensuring efficient and effective operations across warehouse, health, safety & environment, and facilities management. Coordinates all efforts with the SMART factory team to ensure global alignment and facility technology readiness. This role will also support the product line global manufacturing strategies while ensuring standardization of efforts across the site.Job DescriptionSpecific Responsibility: Provides leadership and direction to all functions with regards to site-specific operations.Owns the creation and execution of the site’s enterprise asset management strategy (EAM) to maximize the asset utilization of the facility. Drives continues improvement to assets’ Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) across the site.Establishes a capital equipment budget with expenditure timing for facility equipment not captured in the EVSM’s plans. Reviews and manages facilities cost center financial goals and cost reductions initiatives in support of corporate objectives.In partnership with BCP leaders, establishes, maintains and execute the local site business continuity and natural disaster recovery plans. On-site primary leader during any major crisis.Partner with corporate legal department for all site risk mitigation efforts.Collaborates with corporate Enterprise Value Stream Managers to ensure the execution of the product strategies are supported on site. Collaborates with quality organization to ensure the site compliance to customer and industry requirements.This role is the leader for Corporate/ labor union issues, where applicable. Participates in labor relation’s activities to include Contract revision/renewal negotiations and establishes Company labor policy/procedures. (KV only)Partner with site HR leader to maintain employees’ policies for the site. Ensures required training is conducted across all department on sites. Support the creation and sustainability of a Talent Management program, with HR and EVSM’s, to evaluate and upgrade the skill sets of the employees on site.Ensure alignment and collaboration of local VSMs (people, process, tools) to support corporate goals.Support the implementation of The Right FITT strategy across the site by collaborating with the corporate automation and systems controls team to implement new technologies. Ensure sustainability of automation systems in the facility.Leads the site Health, Safety and Environment policies and compliance.Support local site’s value stream managers in alignment with EVSM product strategiesSupports all major Production Process and Product Development activities with EVSM/ATG and facilitates the commissioning of new processes into Harvest and Incremental processes.Required Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a Manufacturing or Engineering discipline.Supplemental graduate course work in Finance, Accounting or Operations is a plusSkills and Experience10+ years of related Manufacturing Operations experience required, including a working knowledge of World Class manufacturing practices, industry 4.0 and associated implementation practices.
