Job Description : Adena Corporation Job Description Job Title: Project Financial Operations Manager Job Status: Full-Time/Salaried/ExemptSummary: The Project Financial Operations Manager leads and manages the day-to-day finance needs of the Adena Lakeland office. This position is also responsible for ensuring projects are accurately projected and delivering expected job profitability.Primary Job Responsibilities: Coordinates with project operations to ensure that all financial related aspects of the Lakeland site are properly reviewed and analyzed prior to committing capitalSchedules and reviews content of all monthly job projection (MPSR) meetings at his/her location of responsibilityEnsures accurate project cost estimates for all jobs within locationCoordinates weekly job cost reviews with operations to review actual costs vs. expectedResponsible for oversight on change management processes with the project operationsCoordinates and oversees all purchase order and subcontract submissions to Purchasing to ensure costs are within project estimates in placeResponsible for oversight to ensure accurate timely coding and approval for accounts payable, expenses, and timecards for Adena Lakeland employeesEnsures weekly and monthly billings occur timely and challenges project operations to achieve monthly targets for billingsResponsible for assisting Director of Finance in modeling, analyzing, and delivering on 12-month cash flow projectionApproves and assigns expenses to appropriate GL accounts within locationReports and answers any questions from the Director of Finance regarding reporting of job costsResponsible for accurate setup of all new jobs within Lakeland and closing of all jobs within AdenaLakelandContinually analyzes and mitigates project riskAssists with developing the annual budgetAdheres to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environmentPerforms other duties as assignedDesired Qualifications/Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required or 5 years of equivalent work experienceStrong computer experience including Microsoft Word and Excel requiredVISTA accounting and project management software experience preferredMust maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving recordMust have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carryout written or verbal instructionsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work in a team environmentThis position will be scheduled Monday – Friday and this position reports to directly to the Director ofFinance of Adena Corporation.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Lakeland, FL 33803: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:Finance or Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
