Ridgehouse Capital is seeking a dynamic and solution-oriented Asset Manager, who will support our Development Team in managing various real estate development projects. This person will be responsible for meeting budgeted financial and operational goals for new Ridgehouse multifamily projects during predevelopment, construction, stabilization, and disposition. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Leads the marketing and stabilization process including direct oversight of the 3rd party property management firms and develops documentation and recommendations on key findings that may affect the return and financial performance of the asset(s).
Analyzes property financials and performance metrics to ensure adherence to budgets and business plans and recommend changes to management for approval.
Gathers, compiles, investigates, and analyzes market data to identify market trends and prepares narrative memoranda, detailed reports, and market summaries that provide insights on both the property operation and market trends.
Monitors and reports on the status and progress of development projects including critical timelines and deadlines for tasks and activities. Identifies and communicates issues or problems that could adversely affect operations and/or delivery of the asset.
Establishes and maintains productive relationships with equity partners, lenders, and other key stakeholders, and appropriately manages on-going communications related to property management and development transactions.
Develops and implements new applications, programs, and other innovative business practices that drive increased revenue, client satisfaction, efficiencies, and overall process improvements. Provides operational support to ensure the continued success of these efforts.
Provides support and assistance to key business leaders and others by fielding questions and requests and gathering data and reports.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Business, Finance/Economics, Real Estate, or related discipline with strong record of academic achievement
Minimum of three years of real estate, analysis/asset management experience with multifamily properties
High proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook). Experience with Smartsheet a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and react quickly in a demanding fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, balance priorities and deadlines
A desire to learn, grow and assume responsibility for large development projects and investments on a national scale
Highly self-motivated and solution-oriented while also humble and open to feedback, with a positive can-do attitude
