| Job Description : | Job Summary:The Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for effectively managing specific accounts receivable and credit functions for the company. Primary responsibilities include prompt collection of accounts receivable, deduction resolution, credit investigation and analysis, held order reviews and participation in special projects and initiatives as required.Responsibilities:Maintain positive relationships with customers and obtain timely payment of invoices. Follow thru with collection calls and further actions as needed.Process cash application as required via M3 and High Radius – ensuring autocash applications are accurateResearch and resolve customer deductions by partnering with sales, customer service and logistics and initiating disputes per the customers process as required. Also clearing MDF related deductions within 30 days.Issue various account adjustments as needed for billing or payment discrepancies.Maintain customers tax exemptions certificates in Vertex ensuring they are current and for all states required for billing purposes.Perform regular credit reviews of new and existing customers and determine reasonable credit limits leaving minimal risk for the companyMonitor and release orders on credit hold as needed throughout the day and per requestsReview account agings on a regular basis and achieve various metrics set forth by the Credit ManagerKeep detailed collection notes and promptly identify any issues that may lead to any sort of financial riskParticipate in various duties associated with month end close and reportingAssist with special projects and other department needs that may ariseEnsure compliance to internal procedures and controls; recommend process improvementsCommunicate effectively and professionally with all customers , internal and externalSupport management requests as neededQualifications:Strong organization, prioritization and efficiency skills ensuring to eliminate non value added processes and streamline as much as possible – digitally driven/improvement focused.Solid PC proficiency as well as intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel and WordMust be persistent with following up with both internal and external customers.Ensure cohesion and positive work environment between all teams including all members of the finance team.Must have strong initiative and the ability to handle high volumes and multiple tasksAbility to analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plansMust be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressureWe believe in strong team work both within your own team but also across teams.
