Job Opening for Senior Financial Analyst in Paradies Lagardere (Atlanta, GA)

Paradies Lagardere is seeking a Partnerships Senior Financial Analyst, reporting into the Director of Finance – Partnership Relations, to join our Finance organization. You will work in a collaborative environment, with partnership across the FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Business Development, Legal, and Operations teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will spearhead both routine and ad hoc projects and processes to support executive stakeholders, our internal and external partnership relations teams to ensure that all action items are driven to closure such as: Maintaining a robust understanding of business drivers and metrics; identify/track key themes and topics for investor discussions
Supporting Internal and External Partners with the Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Financial Statement delivery and management
Collaboration with the Accounting team to ensure entries regarding JV Partnerships are posted on time and correctly.
Entries such as
Monthly Profit Distributions
Monthly Management Fees
Quarterly Tax Distributions
Semi Annual Excess Profit Distribution
Joint Venture Closeout Distributions
Collaboration with BD Team to develop proformas and proposals around new business and connection to existing business lines.
Collaboration with FP&A Team to develop distributions forecast for annual budgets and semi annual forecast
Collaboration with the tax team to ensure partners receive tax documentation as well as tax distributions
Collaboration with the Legal team to support ACDBE compliance. (Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Audits)
Drafting External materials such as Partner Letters, Financial Investor Presentations, and proformas on partnership investments.
Be a voice of our Joint Venture Partners and help drive decisions that benefit both parties.
Preparing timely responses to email and voicemail inquiries from external stakeholders and partner inquiries
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required
MBA, CPA or similar professional designation preferred
5+ years’ experience in reporting and/or financial analysis
Accounting/GAAP knowledge
Ability to understand how all the Financial Statements Intertwine
Income Statement
Balance Sheet
Cash Flow Statement
Understanding of inter and intra company accounts.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Exposure to SAP S4 Hana preferred
Exposure to IBM Cognos TM1 preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with other functional areas.
Proactive, strategic thinker with ability communicate effectively with executive management
