All decisions should be made in service of this.The RoleThis role will be one of our first team members on our Strategic Finance team dedicated to driving results through analytics and is a unique opportunity to build a function from scratch. The Strategic Finance Analyst/Manager will start off with developing the data and reporting infrastructure to help us understand our financial metrics, clinical and growth metrics on platforms like Looker. They will build models and conduct data analysis to inform business strategy and support our reporting, planning and budgeting processes. This role will partner with business leaders at Pine Park Health and apply their deep technical skills to inform strategic, financial and operational decision making across the company. They will add value by answering long -standing questions but also by figuring out what questions to ask next.What You’ll DoAct as a critical thought partner and collaborate closely with Clinical, Growth, Product, and OperationsDesign and build financial models to support data driven decision making.Dissect business issues, analyze root – causes and provide possible solutions.Develop the infrastructure of FP&A work streams; support company-wide budgeting andforecasting; drive monthly financial reviews to understand key forecast variances.Provide business visibility through reporting/dashboard-ing in Looker using SQL queriesand provide insights on company financial and growth metrics as well as clinical qualitymeasures and operational metrics.Collaborate with data team to ensure that the company has the data infrastructure to support the needs of the finance function.Enable others to self-serve for ongoing data needs through Looker.What We’re Looking For5+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, consulting or similar experience in a high-growth operating company.Experience creating financial models for high-growth startups from scratchAbility to partner with with all business units, from Clinical to Commercial and translate business needs into technical requirementsStrong financial modeling skills and a very high level of comfort with G-Sheets, ExcelProficiency with Looker and SQL.Ability to manipulate and analyze complex data from disparate sources into distilled, actionable information needed by senior leadership to answer critical questions and tell a story with data and visualizations.Strong attention to detail and accuracy of analyses.A high sense of urgency and ability to work under pressured timelines.Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work autonomouslyBonus PointsDeep familiarity with the healthcare industry, value-based care models, and experience analyzing healthcare-specific data: CPT Codes / procedures, medical claims, patient diagnosis.The BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverageFlexible spending accountsMental health stipendProfessional development allowanceGenerous paid time offSome travel is required for this role.Our mission at Pine Park Health is to provide the highest safety and quality of life for our patients who are at high-risk from COVID-19.
