The Wealth Management Business Development & Field Training organization supports the Firm’s Financial Advisors by managing the field sales support of non-banking products and the business development functions for our branch network. The VEA Program is hiring a Class Director to oversee the incoming associates and guide them through their training period and into “production”. The VEA Program Class Director will work closely with the Training Team, VEA Managers and Program Leadership to ensure VEAs are onboarded, trained and ready to start working with their Financial Advisor clients. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for interviewing VEA applicants and refining interview process and selection criteria Assist in the candidate selection process and liaise with Recruiting on offers Communicate with incoming VEAs to ensure they are ready for their first day of work and all pre-start requirements have been met Once VEAs are on board, work closely with the Training team to facilitate portions of training, ensure VEAs are actively participating in training, retaining information and are ready to pass their assessments Partner with Training team to feedback loop successes and areas that need focus in the training program to ensure VEAs are ready for production Prepare VEAs for assessment and participate in assessment evaluation with the VEA Managers Work closely with VEAs who are studying for their S7/S63 to ensure they are scheduling their exams in a timely manner, completing training courses and studying for their exams Track and monitor exam dates and completion with Licensing team Partner with VEA Management to plan for VEA graduation and next steps post-program This role will partner with multiple classes simultaneously in different stages of the program lifecycle QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge and Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of experience in business administration Series 7 preferred Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint Understanding of the Wealth Management business and products Prior people management experience required Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster strong relationships at all levels Excellent organizational skills and ability to function in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Focused and highly disciplined to ensure handling multiple tasks efficiently Be authorized to work in the US without durational restrictions Successfully complete background checks and pre-employment assessments This role requires that all successful applicants be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment and provide proof of such vaccinations within 3 days of commencement of employment.
