If you follow me on Instagram stories, you know that I have been experiencing a lot of pregnancy related fatigue and nausea lately. On Saturday, when I was getting ready to go to the store, I just didn’t feel like it. Jesse said, “Just let me go!”
So I gave him my list and he was gone. A while later, I got a text message with a photo from the Clearance/Markdown section:
I turned inward with excitement and called him right away! There were chocolate chips discounted to $0.89/bag! † † And brownie mix for $0.49/box and more! He definitely hit the mole of price cuts – especially since this section has been pretty bare for the past few weeks!
Here’s what he got for $60.18 (yes, he was under budget!!)
The strawberries are on sale for $1.57 each with the weekly digital coupon!
And the Danimals are $1.99 each with the weekly digital coupon!
The cookie mixes were marked down to $0.69 each. We put all these goodies in the freezer and pantry and we should be sitting on desserts for a long time to come!
Speaking of desserts, the ice cream was also only $1.97 a gallon with the weekly digital coupon!
He got extra milk, so it inspired me to make Homemade Yogurt in the Crock Pot.
And I also made 4-Ingredient Peanut Butter Granola for the yogurt.
I think it will be delicious with some strawberries and sprinkled with chocolate chips!
