| Job Description : | Link 2 Solutions has been engaged to identify high quality candidates to fill a new Controller/CFO position at a great Central Florida company. The successful candidate will already need to live within 60 minutes drive of Orlando, and be onsite at the Corporate HQ most of the week, and also have prior experience working in the manufacturing sector. No sponsorship.Mostly onsite at corporate HQ.Controller/Chief Financial Officer.Strategy, Planning and Management · Act as Controller/Chief Financial Officer and strategic business partner to senior executive leadership team.· Assess and evaluate financial performance of organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts.· Evaluate departments and make suggestions for automating processes and increasing working efficiency.· Recruit, interview and hire finance, accounting and payroll staff as required.· Serve as a key member of executive leadership team and round table discussion panel.· Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models.· Implement policies, procedures and processes as deemed appropriate by senior leadership team. Financial Analysis, Budget Planning and Forecasting· Establishing, preparing and presenting monthly financial budget reports· Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations.· Costing and determining the costs of products, processes, projects and expenditure allocations in order to report the correct amounts on the company’s financial statements. Assisting management in the planning and control of the organization.· Develop and maintain monthly operating budget and annual company operating budget.·* Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance *·* MBA Preferred *·* 7-8 years minimum experience as a Controller/CFO in the manufacturing vertical.*·* 10+ years total accounting or finance experience *·* Outstanding knowledge and understanding of GAAP *·* Outstanding communication and presentation skills. *·* Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence – ability to motivate staff. *·* Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills *·* Significant experience working with external auditors, internal controls and compliance-related issues. *Compensation commensurate with experience.Job Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):Have you had previous experience in the manufacturing sector?Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:Chief Financial Officer or Vice President of Finance: 7 years (Required)Work Location: One location |
