Job Description : A client of ours in the North Houston area is seeking a Credit Analyst to join their team on a contract to full-time basis. This role would interview and start immediately so please apply today for consideration!

Duties:

Processing of credit applications by researching credit reports and trade references
Analyze credit worthiness and make recommendations to Director of Credit and Collections for approval in accordance with delegation of authority
Maintaining certificates of insurance
Maintaining sales tax exemption certificates
Maintaining credit files
Processing/mailing of New Account and Decline Letters
Liaison between customer and branch personnel
Work together and take direction from Sr. Credit Specialist and Director of Credit and Collections
Request documentation required to finalize credit applications
Review customer accounts to identify projects that require preliminary notice filing
Process preliminary lien notices and filing with vendor supported systems
Monitor lien notices and execute lien filings and bond claims
UCC Filings as directed
Assist in processing credit card payments
Administrative support to the Director of Credit and Collections for reporting and as assigned

Requirements:

Knowledge & experience with commercial credit reports
Highly developed people skills
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Intermediate to Advanced level skills with Word and Excel
High school graduate or equivalent
