Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related field.
Experience in team building and development.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience and comfort with regularly presenting to executives with exceptional communication skills
Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting experience within the consumer hardware industry with a focus on Sales and Go-to-Market
Business judgment, strong conviction and confidence to communicate and influence effectively with business partners
Ability to be organized, strategically focused, and detail oriented
Ability to manage with ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it’s modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Excellent at working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to address big picture challenges.
You are both a manager and a mentor, providing financial leadership and analytical support to partners of the core Finance team as well as giving your own team the support they need to become financial experts. You’ll keep management informed on key financial metrics and work to improve financial operation practices throughout your region.
As part of Devices and Services (D&S) Finance, our team is the Finance partner to the Business Organization. Our mission is to create transparency, foster discipline and drive radically better decisions for D&S as our team brings understanding and predictability to the business top line financials. You will be part of the core discussions which manage growth and will engage with a wide range of functions to provide a complete and nuanced set of insights.
You will be responsible for providing leadership and financial support to efficiently run and scale the America Nest business, in partnership with the Heads of Retail, Distribution and Industry Partnerships. This role will work in tandem with the America Finance lead in providing a full view of the business financials, risks and opportunities, as well as developing the analytics and frameworks to drive profitable growth. You will also lead and mentor a growing team of analysts.

And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
Responsibilities
Partner with cross-functional teams to understand industry, product, and business related trends that could result in new opportunity or additional financial risk to Google.
Inform the economics and risk management of agreements, partnerships, and long-term investments.
Manage efficiency in core finance processes (e.g., financial planning, reporting, business reviews, and business planning).
Identify organizational, process, and systems gaps that could jeopardize compliance or product success across the company.
Articulate risks to Product and Finance management teams and propose solutions.
