Job description
This position would be supporting financial reporting and analysis, projections for the specific business segments, identifying industry trends and providing recommendations that will increase performance, evaluating capital projects, and other ad hoc analysis. Successful candidate should be driven to succeed while working independently and able to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with retail leadership and larger finance team to provide financial reporting, budget and projections that align with broader company goals.
Assure accuracy of financial and capital reporting and projections.
Identify and research outliers affecting business performance, support strategic initiatives, track risks and opportunities to plan, develop and maintain key business performance measures, identify trends that can improve performance and make strategic recommendations to management.
Help create and produce capital reports aimed to assist management in identifying historical and forward-looking spending trends
Assist in developing and maintaining capital post-audit process.
Help create and improve management reporting on existing and acquired businesses in order to track performance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in finance, accounting or related business field.
At least 2-6 years of relevant work experience with increasing levels of responsibility preferred.
Solid problem solving and analytical skills, including ability to clearly link financial results to operation performance drivers.
Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to ad hoc needs as they arise.
Proficient use of financial systems and analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel and PowerBI with the ability to manipulate and analyze data.
SAP Experience or related ERP preferred.
Retail and/or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
