| Job Description : | Responsibilities of a Financial Controller: Provide leadership and coordination of company financial planningBudget management functionsAnalyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projectionsThe Financial Controller position is responsible for monitoring and analyzing monthly operating results against budget, overseeing daily operations of the accounting department, and ensuring local, state, and federal compliance as it relates to financial reporting.Manage all HR processes, procedures and policies and manage the employee benefit plan renewals to support retention of employees while maintaining cost controls.Preparing and distributing month end management reports centered on period sales and all month end journal entries making sure they are completed and entered correctly.Managing an internal staff of five in both the accounting and system functions department.Financial Controller Requirements: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accountingMinimum of 10 years of management experience.Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills is an important requirementProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Accounting Software.Knowledge of CSI (Infor) ERP system is preferred and will serve on team for implementation and maintenance.Any public accounting experience would be preferred but not required.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: One location |
