| Job Description : | The purpose of the FP&A Manager is to manage all aspects of the business in analyzing and preparing historical information (cash, costs, margins, departmental level performance, comparison against budget, investor/lender/internal performance reports), leading the preparation of various forward looking information (the budgets and cash flows, opportunity/business line analysis) and providing value added information to guide the business in executing in a strategy or pursuing a strategy. Essential ResponsibilitiesCash flow forecasting: weekly, 3 month rolling forecast, annual (long-term).Three month rolling forecast preparation.Gross margin, variable contribution margin analysis, EBITDA margin analysis, Net profit margin analysis for different products and scenarios.Assist in preparation of annual budget by working with department managers, aggregating information, completing assessment of accuracy, and presenting information to VP of Finance and others as needed.Analyze results against budget, and conduct monthly meetings with managers and provide support as needed.Analyze different products from a margin standpoint for the purpose of assessing product profitability.Support business with projects as needed, including but not limited to system improvements, site buildout analysis, backfilling for the Accounting Manager or Controller position, electricity and other cost allocations.Develop valuable, timely and informative reports for internal stakeholders and external stakeholders that include KPIs from finance, operations, EH&S, Engineering and such.Prepare monthly capital draw as needed.Assist with requests from investors as needed.Support business with preparation of monthly financial reporting package – reporting on results, and providing valuable information that will enhance performance of business.Support sales team and business on completing cost models to price business, and perform other analysis to assess the feasibility of pursuing different products.Support the financial reporting team and accounting team as needed for month-end close, year-end close and audit/tax support.Serve as a critical resource in assisting with the year-end inventory audit.
