Lowry and Associates Inc. is recruiting part- and full-time self-motivated career professionals to conduct physical audits on Workers Compensation and General Liability policies for various insurance companies.Good candidates for this position frequently come from the Accounting and/or Bookkeeping fields.Purpose:To gather data from insured’s place of business to be reported to carrier which will determine accurate premium base for policyDuties: Perform field audits by traveling to meet with clients at their place of business to examine and compile data from various financial records into a concise report for the carrierQualified applicants will be responsible for scheduling and managing their own appointments and workloadsEssential Functions: Strong verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of WCIRB, NCCI and ISO guidelines for classification of businesses and employees so as to meet quality standards set forth by local state and the clientPrevious experience with Nexus or Future Audit software is desired, but not requiredGeneral accounting skillsAbility to work independently and be self-motivated and self-disciplinedAdvanced computer skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)Strong analytical and problem solving skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to conduct business professionally and positively with third party business ownersAbility to take feedback positively and make corrections and changes to improvePreferred Work Experience: Previous experience conducting workers compensation or general liability auditsDemonstrated ability to perform quality customer serviceAccounting or BookkeepingOther: Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required for travel to insuredsFlexibility to adjust to new situations and changing prioritiesTakes responsibility for own performance and developmentDevelops a high degree of trust through demonstrated personal integrity and ethical behaviorDedicated home office spaceJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, ContractPay: From $32.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible scheduleProfessional development assistancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:Full Vaccinations or masks are required when meeting at any business location.Education:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Financial accounting: 1 year (Preferred)Insurance: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: On the road |
