| Job Description : | Conexus is working with a rapidly growing Healthcare company seeking an Interim Controller. This role operates on a hybrid basis.We are looking for a Controller to develop accounting policies and oversee all financial procedures of our company. As a Controller, you’ll monitor the company’s financial status, review quarterly and annual budgets and manage accounting transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with risk management. Ultimately, you’ll make sure we comply with accounting regulations, maximize profits and mitigate risks.ResponsibilitiesDocument, monitor and update accounting policiesEnsure all payments are completed on time (including accounts payable and bank deposits)Review quarterly and annual budgets for all departmentsAnalyze costs and profitsSet and track financial KPIsBuild risk assessment models to evaluate investmentsReport on financial status on a regular basis and create ad-hoc reports when neededMaintain accurate and up-to-date filing systemsPerform internal audits and assist with external auditsEnsure compliance with accounting and tax regulationsSkillsWork experience as a Controller or similar roleThorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and legislationHands-on experience with general ledger accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsExperience with cash management and risk assessmentGood knowledge of accounting softwareAttention to detailAbility to work with tight deadlinesBSc or MSc in Accounting or FinanceCPA or CMA preferredJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $75.00 – $100.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:Accounting: 5 years (Required)NetSuite: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:CPA (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
