| Job Description : | One of Legalpeople’s top clients is seeking a licensing compliance analyst to assist their Financial Services group on a contract or contract to perm basis. This candidate can sit in D.C., Atlanta, Charlotte, Raleigh Durham, New York, or Dallas. This position will start remote but will be an in-office position eventually when the firm goes back to their offices.The responsibilities and required skills include:Manage mortgage servicing licenses for a couple different entities.Draft license applications, reports, renewals, and amendments, track project status information, interact with clients and regulators as needed to obtain and submit relevant information, and handle all aspects of licensing project management.After loans have been prepared, the analyst communicates with the client directly, this is normally done through the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry (called the “NMLS”).Research state regulations, perform audits and review financial statements.This position will start on a temp basis but could turn into a perm position for the right candidate. The hourly rate is competitive and the firm is a fantastic place to work.
