Our team is expanding, and we’re looking for sizzling talent that’s ready to push boundaries while maintaining the Bonchon standards of excellence.WHO YOU AREThe Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager, reporting directly to the Director of Finance, will be responsible for analyzing data, business insight and making recommendations to drive the growth and profitability of the Bonchon brand.WHAT WE OFFER – PERKS AND BENEFITS· Medical, Dental, Vision all starting on the 1st of the month following hire date· Basic Life insurance and short-term disability – employer paid· Supplemental Life insurance and long-term disability options· More than 10 paid Holidays off· Flexible work schedule/Hybrid work environment· Days off to vote and volunteer in your community· Generous vacation plan· Company meal discounts· Employee Assistance ProgramTHE ROLE· Assist Director of Finance and management team to formulate and optimize the business’s financial and strategic plan· Assist Director of Finance and Global Finance team to build annual budgets and forecasts· Deliver sales analysis covering both franchise and company-owned restaurants, including Year-over-Year same-store sales analysis (sales, transactions, and average check), Month-over-Month sales treading analysis, new restaurant sales tracking· Build the automation of reporting tool, data mining and analysis· Work cross-functionally with departments (Operations, Marketing, SCM, Development, etc.) to provide insight and recommendation for effective business decisions, including marketing activities, new menu launch out and pricing, new supplier development· Conduct detailed analysis of financial and operational results of all business units (including franchise business, company-owned restaurants, product sales business) to assist the management team to better understand company performance against budget· Review operations and recommend opportunities to improve company profitability (revenue generation, cost-saving initiatives, etc.)· Work closely with the accounting team to ensure budgets are properly accounted for or reflected in Financial Statements· Prepare ad hoc projects requested by the management team and Director of FinanceEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA or CA is preferred· Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, BI, and reporting tools· Extensive knowledge of Aloha POS and Mirus system is plus· At least 5 years experience in the F&B industry with extensive knowledge on equity and franchise business model set-up, particularly focused on restaurants· Advanced problem solving and root cause analysis skills· Critical thinking and decision makingJob Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Dallas, TX 75248: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Financial analysis: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
