| Job Description : | The Harrisonburg Rockingham Community Services Board is recruiting for a full-time, salaried position of Risk Management Specialist. The position offers an opportunity for an energetic individual to collaborate with management to ensure the agency has a risk management and health/safety strategy for incident investigations, regulatory requirements and reporting, insurance claims, facility security, disaster preparation and business continuity planning. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of positions within an organizational structure with demonstrated ability to communicate in a broadly understandable fashion. The position requires a thorough knowledge of risk management and quality improvement approaches, familiarity with public behavioral health services and regulations and safety or emergency management programs. Experience with web-based applications, spreadsheets, and managing data is required. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor degree in human services, business, public administration or a related area or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
