What we do
automotiveMastermind puts dealers in the driver’s seat with Market EyeQ. Market EyeQ is an automated sales and marketing platform that empowers dealers to close more deals by predicting future buyers and consistently marketing to them. Generate success in your loyalty, service, and conquest portfolios through a combination of turnkey predictive analytics, proactive marketing, and dedicated consultative services.

What we need help with
The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Director, FP&A, and will partner with business leaders in and outside of the finance and accounting team. They will synthesize complex financial and operational data into dashboards and OKRs that support meaningful analysis and insights. He/She will be a key player in annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasts and will own the forecasting and budgeting models. This position will have exposure to leadership and will have exposure to various parts of our organization.
Assist with the annual operating plan, budget process, quarterly reforecasts, and capital spending review process for automotiveMastermind.
Provide continued development and improvement of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools.
Work with all department and business units to better understand the key drivers of their business and business requirements.
Be a trusted business partner and advisor to all levels within automotiveMastermind; help develop short-term and long-term plans while helping to execute plans.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and variance analysis, by creating simple and effective weekly and monthly reporting
Improve the accuracy and effectiveness of our accounting and closing process through analytical review and trend analysis.
Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis – Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs, pricing, and new initiatives.
Analyze large data sets, complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making.
Assist headcount planning for automotiveMastermind and continuously improving the process

Who you are:
Degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting
Robust financial modeling skills
Experience in SaaS or Technology strongly preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Experience with Sales Force or other CRM tools.
Experience with Concur or other expense tools
Ability to build relationships with multiple functions and regions, across all levels of the organization
Excellent time management skills
Ability to pivot and be flexible in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to manage and analyze large data sets
Strong attention to detail, without losing site of the bigger picture
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
Interest in the automotive industry desired

Where you will be:
This role is based in NYC and our office is currently located in Hudson Yards. For this position, we are currently requesting a hybrid in-office model.

Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. We work to a flexible schedule based on the company needs; generally this is Monday through Friday, though holidays and weekend may be required.
