Job Opening for Senior Financial Services PR Manager in Kforce (Jacksonville, FL 32204)

Responsibilities include:

A Senior Financial Services PR Manager will work with management to develop and execute comprehensive public relations plans in support of the corporate image through researching, writing and editing, press releases, white papers, speeches, internal communications, online communications, and other related documents
Prepare and document current information about the organization for appropriate members of the media
The Senior Financial Services PR Manager assists with the development and execution of tactical PR plans
Handles media inquiries, creates media opportunities, and works with public relations agencies to get favorable stories in the press
A Senior Financial Services PR Manager will represent the organization at public functions and charitable events in a manner that reflects positively on the organization
Serve as a liaison for members of the press and outside public relations firms
The Senior Financial Services PR Manager will write, edit press materials, and respond to press inquiries
Coordinate internal and external events

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
5 years minimum experience in working a Public Relations agency or in-house role
Proficiency in public relations practices and techniques
Development of media pitches, press releases, and byline articles
Eye for a news story and understanding of what makes a great results
Experience managing a PR agency in the US driving them to successful results
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various s levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)
Experience working in FinTech, Financial Services or Technology company or clients
Influencer relations campaigns and experience
