| Job Description : | The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial and business trend data for use in the development of strategic business planning, annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, new and existing product profitability analysis and ad hoc reporting. Responsible for preparing and reviewing a variety of complex financial data and assists in maintaining and updating company financial models and forecasts. This role will support a large number of internal stakeholders, including finance leadership and upper management. Responsibilities Work with other departments to develop and consolidate annual plan, and track monthly results against plan, including layering and performance of strategic initiatives. Prepare the monthly management review which includes detailed analysis of results vs. plan & previous year, retention analysis for key products, monthly & quarterly forecasts and other pertinent graphs and reports. Analyze headcount and other financial metric reports. Prepare monthly financial statements and management reviews including trends at the product category and segment levels. Provide financial support to the Information Technology and Marketing teams. Work cross-functionally with other finance support partners to provide a holistic perspective on business performance. Create ad-hoc reports and analysis based on requests from Sr. Management and Finance leaders. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics required; MBA desired. 7+ years of experience in Finance. 7+ years’ experience operating Windows and associated Microsoft Office applications, including: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc. Personal and Professional Skill Sets Ability to analyze, interpret and present financial and non-financial data in meaningful management reports including recommendations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Make decisions based on logic, factual information, resources and constraints, and in congruence with organizational values. Able to take broad thinking around business issues and apply to company strategies. Strive for continuous improvement. Generate original, creative ideas to improve processes. Express ideas clearly and logically. Demonstrate fast, effective response and follow-up to customer feedback. Excellent analytical skills. Effective Presentation skills.
