Sr Financial Analyst
Primary Location: Plano, Texas
V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking Sr Financial Analyst client in Plano, Texas. This is a contract position.
Education and Experience »
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
Knowledge of SAP BPC preferred (Tableau, Power BI or Hyperion also translates)
Advanced Microsoft skills, including advanced formulas to manage and analyze large volumes of data
Proactive and creative in problem solving and thinking innovatively
Excellent analytic and presentation skills
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required to build professional relationships across the organization
Ability to perform in a fast paced, dynamic, deadline driven environment
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
The key function for this team is being the bridge between Finance and IT.
Guide, support, and provide oversight to the ITFM (IT Financial Management) organization as it relates to all financial aspects of the IT organization – variance analysis, actual vs. budget, forecasting, data analysis, risk management as it relates to IT spend, research.
Portfolio management (budget controls) – this refers to the individual budgets for the various groups within IT
Analyzing spend for the IT groups, variance and trend analysis, cost accruals
Lead kaizen (continuous improvement) opportunities to improve forecasting, planning and reporting processes
Dealing with large amounts of data for budgets and forecasting, data visualization and interpretation
