JOB SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE:
The Student Information System (SIS) Administrator is responsible for the planning, development and maintenance of the SIS (currently Campus Nexus) for Ameritech College of Healthcare. The SIS Administrator is primarily responsible for ensuring SIS stability, maintaining efficient SIS operations, managing SIS versioning/upgrades, assessing SIS configuration, partnering with operational business owners to maximize SIS utilization, ensuring quality end-user support for faculty, staff and students, documenting SIS business procedures, collaborating with Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to ensure efficient and effective integration, and assisting with rollout of new SIS initiatives. The SIS Administrator is an innovative and strategic thinker that can analyze complex issues and develop solutions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Learn the function data, reporting of the major operational areas of the College.
Streamline processes and consider best practices in all functional departments.
Be responsible for ensuring timely updates, reporting and maintenance of SIS system.
Oversee implementation/ set-up of major software/hardware implementations.
Ensure communications to all College constituents on projects/timelines, training, etc.
Be responsible for departments meeting their assigned, timelines and ensuring projects are completed within established timeframes.
Coordinate and monitor event timelines and event logistics
Work in cooperation with others, including administrators, faculty, staff and students on assigned projects and daily activities.
Maintain confidentiality of all administrative matters and documents.
Other duties as assigned.
Attend and actively participate in school functions, including but not limited to: receptions, marketing events, graduations, in-service training, advisory committees, etc.

. Requirements:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree. Combination of post-secondary education and experience in lieu of a degree.
3 years’ experience with Higher education Student Information System (preferably Campus Nexus)
Experience working with an SIS, preferably in a higher education environment.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Structured query language, /PL SQL; 3+ data query development, Campus Nexus preferred.
Possess effective oral and written communication, customer service and time management skills.
Demonstrates ability to work in a collaborative work environment.
Experience using Office 365

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is typically indoors but may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level of the work environment is usually low to moderate with some construction tools used by the employee or in the immediate vicinity of the employee.
