The Wealth Management Business Development & Field Training organization supports the Firm’s Financial Advisors by managing the field sales support of non-banking products and the business development functions for our branch network.
The Virtual Engagement Associate Program (VEA) was launched to support experienced
Financial Advisors with executing aspects of their individual business development strategies. By leveraging Morgan Stanley’s state-of-the-art tools, VEAs help Financial Advisors increase client engagement by managing their digital presence via Social Media and business Websites, as well as by creating consistent client-specific communication based on Morgan Stanley’s unique Next Best Action tool.
The VEA Program COO Team is hiring a Business Manager to oversee the business management functions within the VEA organization and support its overall growth. The VEA Program Business Manager will report to the VEA COO and will oversee day-to-day operations where needed and collaborate with other staff to meet business objectives. The Business Manager position will work closely with other departments within Wealth Management as a key player in a large organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide project management and process design & re-engineering support for the VEA Program and VEA COO Team
Track and report on the VEA Program metrics
Assist with executing growth strategy across the Program
Develop and deliver presentations regarding initiatives and business strategies for senior management; coordination with key partners in the organization including the Wealth Management business, IT, Operations, HR, Finance, Marketing, Legal and Compliance
Collaborate with colleagues to develop operational solutions to strategic challenges
Oversee maintenance of Program procedure and policy documentation
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 6-8 years of experience in business administration or advanced management
Series 7 preferred
Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Understanding of the Wealth Management business and products
Prior people management experience required
Experience with process design, process re-engineering and project management is required
Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster strong relationships at all levels
Excellent organizational skills and ability to function in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Focused, and highly disciplined to ensure handling multiple tasks efficiently
Be authorized to work in the US without durational restrictions
Successfully complete background checks and pre-employment assessments
