Last Week’s $72 Kroger Shopping Trip (+ What We Ate)

I went to Kroger on Friday and grabbed some great deals! My total was $72 for all of the above groceries.

Sugar was on sale for $1.27/bag with the digital coupon. Potatoes were on sale for $1.77/bag with the digital coupon. And nectarines and peaches were just $0.97/lb again.

The Simply Steam Veggies are only $0.99 each with the digital coupon. And I splurged and got a roast that was discounted to $10!

I was excited about these pizzas to keep in the freezer for easy weeknight dinners!

Have you ever seen or tried these berries before? Are they good? I saw them in the store (can’t remember ever seeing them before!) and they looked like strawberries not ripening!

I had some tomato soup discounted a few months ago, we had bread and lots of cheese so we did grilled cheese and tomato soup and it was a hit.

Some of you suggested turning the Irish Soda Bread into French toast. Since we had already discounted all those eggs, it was the perfect week to try that. It was delicious!

Silas made steaks for us one night. He likes to watch cooking shows and make his own marinade. They were so tasty!

If you’ve been following it for a long time, you can probably guess what we’re going to use these ingredients for tonight! (Here’s a hint.)
