We have an exciting career opportunity for an Assistant Controller.What You’ll Do: The ideal candidate, as part of our Treasury Team, will work closely with all parts of the company and have accountability for the financial teams and accounting systems. This includes Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory Management, Payroll Processing, Budgeting, Tax ( GRT/State), Month-end close and Financial statement preparation.We need a leader who can build trust and engagement with all associates within our linked functional areas while implementing strong business processes. You will need a clear understanding of accounting systems and controls. We want a team player with a bias to action and strong communications skills.What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting requiredCPA required7+ years overall experience with financial reporting for medium – to large distribution or manufacturing companies using a ERP system (SAP+)Payroll processing 5+ yearsADP experience is a plusAbility to work with and lead teams in the development of systems and controls in a lean accounting environment.Ability to inspire, lead and role model principle-based leadership.Ability to develop and maintain relationships based on a foundation of mutual trust and respect with all stakeholders.Excellent analysis and presentation skills (e.g., pivot tables, basic statistics, PowerPoint, etc.)Ability to develop and enhance policies and procedures.
