| Job Description : | Page 1* of 2*Position Summary: The Controller position is responsible for managing and monitoring the financial stability of Hirschi Companies and its affiliate companies including Hirschi Masonry, Iron and Powder Coating, and Trucking LLC’s.Essential Job Responsibilities Oversees the company’s Purchasing and Payroll Departments including supervising three manager direct reports.Manage the accumulation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results.Compiles monthly financial statements and presents to executive management.Communicate and present financial metrics, reports and potential risk to executive management.Monitor the “Work in Progress Schedule” for the company and ensure it is accurate at months close.Compile, monitor and communicate monthly and annual operating budgets.Responsible for developing and maintaining internal controls to support the financial infrastructure.Responsible for all paperwork, reports, statements, etc that need to be completed for federal and state regulatory agencies.Manage and monitor the Company’s accounting software systems and delegate access to employees for said system.Manages company insurance and claims.Carryout additional tasks as assigned by the CFO.Experience, Educational, and Additional Requirements: Pass mandatory drug test required.Must have at least 3-years of direct work experience as a Financial Controller preferredMust have a sound understanding of financial reporting.Must be competent in Mathematics and can interpret complex financial concepts.Must possess excellent communication and organization skills.Must have a BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other type of related field of study.
