Job Opening for Corporate Controller in AquantUs, LLC (Sandy, UT)

Corporate Controller with a leading real estate and property management firm with approximately $30 billion in AUM.

Summary

This role will be based in Sandy, Utah and will report to the CAO.
Responsibilities
Oversee the growth and development of the Corporate Accounting team.
Responsible for the operations of the accounting departments which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, and coordination with Corporate treasury, budgeting, payroll and tax compliance.
Develop policies and procedures to maintain consistency in reporting across the various entities.
Have a strong understanding of investment fund structures, property management functions, asset acquisition and disposition mechanics as well as a basic understanding of the company’s operations in regard to asset management, regulatory compliance, taxation, and general GAAP financial reporting.
General roles and responsibilities include:
Financial Reporting.
Public Company Reporting related to SOX 404 and SEC Reporting.
Budgeting and Forecasting.
Technology innovation selection and migration.
Companywide cash management/cashflow, profitability, and profit distribution recommendations.
Requirements
BS in Accounting and Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
CPA required.
Current or prior external audit experience with a public accounting firm.
Experience with publicly-traded companies required.
10+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting.
3+ years of direct exposure with company consolidation.
Experience in Private Equity industry is a plus.
Experience designing, implementing and documenting accounts payable and GL processes and policies.
Experience with creating, presenting and analyzing financial statements.
