Job Description : About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Securities Research Specialist.

In this position you will work as part of a team with the Senior Analyst covering the Industrial Technology and Transportation sectors. Specific responsibilities include creating, updating, and maintaining financial models, writing company and industry reports, conducting fundamental research, maintaining and analyzing database information, and communicating with clients, internal constituents and senior management teams.

In this role, you will:
Serve as an individual contributor role in the Global Research and Economics Group supporting Wells Fargo Securities
Be responsible independently or as part of a team for research direction of industries, markets and companies
Provide research coverage with a wide knowledge of the business, marketplace and clients
Engage business to provide exceptional service to clients
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications, US:
4+ years of Securities Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of Equity Research
Experience using Factset and Bloomberg, and other data aggregation programs a plus.
FINRA registration including Series 7 and 63 (or FINRA recognized equivalents) must be completed within 90 days of hire date.
FINRA registration including Series 86 (or successful completion of Level II of the CFA Examination)
Registration for FINRA SIE must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including high level of proficiency in modeling
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and the capital markets industry
Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
