Based in our St. Louis, Missouri location, you will perform monthly and quarterly financial forecasting activities including consolidation and review of quarterly forecast revisions as well as assessment of monthly performance against expectations. Additionally, you will perform ad hoc financial analysis and other special projects upon request. We look forward to seeing your application!
AS FINANCIAL ANALYST, YOU WILL:
Consolidate and analyze quarterly financial forecasts (Presidents Operating Report) for all business units. Review key financial ratios and investigate material changes against prior expectations and prior periods. Prepare related reporting for senior management.
Assist business units with forecast submissions including providing mentorship to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures and providing troubleshooting support for issues encountered while loading data into Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).Tie-out monthly operating results with corporate accounting to ensure data integrity.
Examine actual monthly results for all business units to summarize and communicate drivers of material differences versus expectations.
Build and update reports using the HFM Smartview and Ad Hoc tools to provide relevant and concise financial information to key management.
Consolidate and review annual update to next Fiscal Year forecasting (Financial Review) and prepare summary reporting for management.
Support the preparation of financial information for board meetings, planning conferences, investor conference, OCE meetings and other management reviews as required.
Provide financial analysis support to other corporate departments including Accounting, Treasury, Investor Relations, Planning and Development as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Finance/Accounting
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Solid understanding of GAAP accounting
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Master’s Degree (MBA or Master’s in Accounting)
Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) preferred
CPA certificate
