Job Opening for SELF-PAY COORDINATOR/PFS, FCH – PATIENT FINANCIAL SERVICES in Froedtert (Menomonee Falls, WI 53051)

Summary:
The Self Pay Coordinator is the central point person for financial assistance functions and responsible for processing and ensuring policies are adhered too.
This person is responsible for monitoring processes and performance of self pay/collection agency vendors for Froedtert Health hospitals, ASC’s, and physician group.
Liaison to self-pay vendors for Froedtert Health and patients.
Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
Three to five years of Hospital Revenue Cycle related experience, coding, or case management experience is required.
High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Other information:
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and third party payer rules.
Demonstrated understanding of business functions and relationships between PFS , Admitting, Finance, Managed Care, Corporate Compliance, HIM, Utilization Management and Social Services.
Analytical skills necessary to prepare and interpret statistical reports.
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Superior customer service expertise.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience using computerized billing systems in a hospital and/or clinical setting is preferred.
