| Job Description : | Are you a team leader? Have an accounting background and looking to advance with managing a team?We are looking for a new leader on our accounting team that will be responsible for managing our financial team and their completion of financial reporting and managing the fiscal functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and organizational values. Manage and lead our accounting team in the supporting efforts for the organization and ensure the financial integrity of the financial reporting and underlying systems.Experience:Three to five years of experience at a management level with two or more direct reportsExperience in performance-based environmentKnowledge of regulations and legal requirements to maintain financial and informational integrity of the organizationPrior experience managing audits with an external CPA firmExperience with Single Audits a plusPrimary Duties:Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.Oversee the preparation of all weekly and monthly departmental reporting.Determine work priorities, assign work and ensure accurate / timely completion of work assignments.Provide leadership, direction and management to all direct reports in order to support and enhance their ongoing development / production.Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.Provide continuous quality improvement processes throughout the finance / accounting functionMaintain the chart of accounts and coordinate any accounting system needsOversee and review daily online treasury for bank accountsMaintain strong relationships with primary banking partner through regular communication as well as attending seminars and eventsManage reporting of monthly sales tax, annual tangible property tax, real property tax for owned parcels, and tax components of any leased location.Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: One location |
