| Job Description : | Now hiring great candidates to lead our finance team for multiple multi-unit restaurant brands! This person will work collaboratively with our finance team, executive team, and operations team to ensure financial success for our brands! This is a full time, in office, role based in Las Vegas and offers competitive salary and excellent benefits!The VP of Finance will be supporting the CFO by planning and directing accounting operational functions and handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements for a multi-unit restaurant brand.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS· Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.· Assist with inventory control and counting procedures· Monthly preparation of financial reports and required bank reporting· Direct the cost accounting function, taking responsibility for a cohesive and accurate result across all cost accounting areas· Serves as a financial strategic lead supporting analyses, forecasting, and budgeting initiatives.· Establish and implement financial reporting systems.· Ensure accuracy of account reconciliations and compliance with state and federal laws and financial regulations.· Provides fiscal data to executive team when requested and in regularly scheduled meetings.· Ensures compliance with taxation requirements, including filings, maintaining tax records, and working with tax agencies and vendors.· Complying with all accounting, tax and financial laws, and regulations and principles.· Oversee financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.· Manage team member performance, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, counseling, recognition, interviewing, hiring, and termination.· Other related duties and special projects as assigned.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE· Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field required· CPA Certification preferred· 7+ years accounting experience, 4+ years in a management role· Experience working for a QSR/Fast Casual Restaurant chain· Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures.· Knowledge of computerized accounting systems and applications to include main frame terminals / personal computers, general software applications and keyboard facility.· Skilled in performing detailed and complex numerical computations and reports.· Strong experience in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook· Proven leadership experienceJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Las Vegas, NV 89169: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
