| Job Description : | General Summary of Duties: The Director of Finance and Accounting will provide accounting and financial control work for the Whiteside County Health Department by directing, planning and organizing the activities of the Fiscal and Billing Departments. The Director will work closely with the CFO and PHA/CEO to assure financial growth and success of the organization.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (accounting, finance, business preferred); MBA or Masters is a plusCPA designation5+ years of experience in budgeting and accounting, including at least 3 years of executive level management experience, preferably in a healthcare settingDetail oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, where necessaryQualities sought: Must have a positive attitude, strong, steady work ethic, ability to maintain confidentiality, and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
