| Job Description : | Position SummaryThe Financial Analyst will be responsible for analysis of financial data and the creation of financial models for decision support. This individual will track the company’s financial performance against its goals, analyze business performance and market conditions to rerate forecasts, and help senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing reports.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior managementProduce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reportingDevelop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and process analysisPartner with plant management and operations to assist with budgeting and forecastingMaintain knowledge and keep abreast of new investment regulations or policiesConduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance and develop forecast modelsIdentify trends, advise company and recommend actions to Financial Planning and Analysis Manager based on sound analysis.Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills and AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train staff.Accounting/GAAP knowledgeAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelExperience in database managementMust be detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skillsExcellent communication skills in interacting with management and peersFamiliarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX and IBM Cognos is a plusPrevious experience in production or manufacturing industry preferredEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field is required.Advanced degree and/or certifications preferred (MBA, CFP, FRM, CMA)2-4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, or related field required.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations |
