If you have a strong background in corporate financial management and a strong desire to become part of a fast-growing brand, you may be the perfect person to fill this position.ResponsibilitiesMaximizes return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.Manages a small team to support department needs by recruiting, training, and coaching their growth in alignment with department needs.Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.Required SkillsBachelor’s degree in accounting required (master’s degree preferred)Valid CPA status or MBA5-7years’ experience in a managerial accounting positionStrong understanding of tax codes and lawsProficiency with accounting software requiredSuperb organizational and time management abilitiesExcellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.Understanding of US GAAPJob Type: Full-timePay: $95,000.00 – $134,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid time offPhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:Master’s (Required)Experience:GAAP: 7 years (Required)Work Location: One location |
